Automatic Fan not working

My heat works, and I can turn the fan ON, but if I adjust the thermostat to automatically switch on and off, the fan never comes on, leaving the larger rooms in my home chilly.

Also, the thermostat is heating up higher than what I set it to, because it can't bring the temperature to where it needs to be. Not only will my gas bill be high, but I'm concerned about a fire.

Will I need to replace the entire circuit board, or can I just replace a fuse or something?

And is this something I should fix, like, immediately?

:furious:

It's a Lennox.

The Model Number is partially covered up, so all I can read is C16-4.

The problem is with the automatic fan. I think the heat is running harder to heat the home because the fan isn't spreading the warm air.

Could it be an issue with the thermostat not registering the temperature rather than and issue with the actual heater itself?

The thermostat doesn't control the fan.

Have you changed your air filter lately.

If you have central A/C, it could be that the coil is dirty.

Do you have any returns blocked.
