automatic damper control

the automatic damper device on my furnance is making an awful noise...the furnance won't kick on. Is there something I can do on my own without calling in an off hours call to a HVAC repairman?

automatic damper control

Hi krk

Sounds to me like you have a coleman with a fresh air system. If you dont want to call a repairman, there is a little black box that has a slide switch on it. Turn it to off. Sorry no one replied.

Good luck.
