Armstrong pump E9 - Geothermal

I have a 2005 Climate Master Tranquility 20 system. It was installed by a local company with years in the HVAC business. The system has 3 closed loops and is not open any where. My question is concerning the Armstrong E9 circulating pump. It has been replaced 3 time and now it needs to be replaced again. Is this normal for this pump or is there a better pump system that could be installed.

What happens to the pump? Is is mechanical or electrical failure?

Do tell

I'm interested in the armstrong pumps due to their efficiency. Do tell about the pump problems. Pumps should last a very long time.

As I understand things pumps can fail if:

-They loose pressure and the bearings burn out
-Junk in the loop trashes the impeller
-weird electric supply issues may overheat motor.
-Pump may be mounted with the wrong orientation.

Replaced Pump

I just watched them replace the pump. The did not replace the pump housing. There was nothing wrong with the electrical side it just made a lot of noise. When they first checked out the pump it would not circulate the water and that is why it would shut down. The service man was here for about 2 hours. He hooked up a special pump (flow Test) that was to check for air. He checked the amp draw on the pump motor and checked a lot of other things. But in the end he said the unit is running fine. He wrote down on the service sheet the different readings.
