Aprilaire 600A and Carrier Furnace-Wiring

1. Yellow wires from solenoid are going to "H" circuit on humidistat
2. "HUM" on furnace circuit board is going to W/G on humidistat
3. "COM" is going to C/f on humidistat

What's next....how should I power this up..I understand there are different options...what's the preferred method (24v from furnace...no need for transformer...correct?)

Need to know if your furnace has powered humid terminals an whether they are 24v or 110v

Wire the humidistat to one lead of solenoid and wire other side of humidistat to hot terminal of humid terminal on furnace. (24v to ground)

Wire the the remaining wire of humidifier solenoid back to common terminal of furnace humid terminal.

This is assuming your humidifier is 24v.
