Any opinion on Armstrong Air?
One of the fellows posting here mentioned that they make a good unit for a budget price. I checked out their web site and get some banner ads due to cookies. They look like they make nice units with nice technology and a good warranty. I cannot find a dealer near me.
I have an office building aka albatross with 6 AC units. I am just praying for mid October to roll around. I replaced one unit there a few months ago and my home unit a few days ago.

Any opinion on Armstrong Air?
I once sold then don't anymore you can check my previous post as why. My price on them is similar to Bryant/carrier which in just my opinion is superior.

Any opinion on Armstrong Air?
Armstrong is made by Lennox. I have a 13SEER that we got about two years ago, and love it. Quieter than the Lennox unit next door, that my neighbor has. I measured the noise level of mine running, and it came out around 31 -db with ambient noise. If you stand about twenty feet from it, you can hardly hear it running.
My neighbors Lennox next door is ready to go out, due to the motor is starting to show signs of its age of the unit.

Any opinion on Armstrong Air?
First, they are not made by Lenox.Armstrong was bought out by Lenox. To my knowledge they arestill made in the same plant by the same people.
Armstrong always was a good middle of the road piece of equipment and I haven't hyeard anything bad about them since they were bought out. That said you are going at this backwards.First find out who locally is a good honest dealer. Then use his equipment after he does a manual J and AND a manual D for your house. This is the only way to do it unless you are so rich that long term costs don't bother you. |
