the furnace is running good but have now found out that there is alot of dirt and rust particles and slime from the contents of the fuel tank. ( which is located outside ) can i install another filter cartridge and not use a filter in it to catch the particles as they are heavier than the fuel, and use it as a catch basin so it doesnt clog the nozzle, and nozzle tip to cause the furnace to stop running due to lack of fuel? am going to replace the tank in the spring but want to try something now to keep things clog free till end of the heating season. am going to use an anti microbial solvent to eliminate the slime but not sure about the sediment problem. CARRIERMAN or anyone have any ideas??
