Anchoring A/C unit to concrete

I need to anchor my A/C outside unit to its concrete base. How do I accomplish this?

Predrill and put in tapcons. I assume by AC unit you mean condenser?

Tapcons or thunderstuds and or liquid nails. Around here thieves got tired of trying to get the unit off the concrete so now they just steal the coil. Not much you can do about that.

Install a low pressure switch linked to a very LOUD alarm bell.. When the thieves cut any part of the system the freon comes out low pressure switch opens and sets off an alarm.. Of course you have know HVAC to hook this up and install the correct relays and alarm system it works.

Why not link it to a big light also??? Nail them.

In Florida, it is a code requirement to fasten the condenser to the pad.
Generally they are call hurricane straps.
