Amana Gas Furnace no heat LED blinks 4 times

So we are in the shoulder season here in Georgia where we jump from a little A/C in the daytime and occasionally have the need for heat at night. The other day we noticed that the air coming out of the vents with A/C on smelled a little musty. It was not not quite like dirty socks but not quite like fresh conditioned air either.
I suspected the coil to be moldy or mildewed so I inspected it and it looked fine. I sprayed some coil cleaner on it just for the heck of it. Later that night we turned the heat on and the burners never lit. So we had stinky air with A/C on and no heat.
When calling for heat, the circulator blower continued to run and the induced draft blower never ran. After it cycled, the LED was blinking 4 times. The code is for an open primary or auxiliary circuit. The upstairs furnace is working great so I tried swapping the switches into the non-heat unit. No resolution. I then swapped the integrated circuit board. No resolution.
I have recently replaced very dirty filters. I do notice lower circulator blower output through the vents. When the A/C is on the air coming out of the vents smells and the speed and volume seems less than the working units vents. I can't see or feel of any blockages in the air inlets. I am thinking about swapping the circulator blower to see if that is the issue. Any thoughts?

Probably a dirty A/C coil. need to look at the side where the air blows into the coil.

some units and especially Amana/Goodman have an extra auxillary limit control which is mounted on the backside of the fan housing or on the deck below the burners but in the fan compartment B4 the fan. it may be open or you got bad connections in one of the wiring harnesses. may have a manual red reset button on it.
"Cut it twice and it is still too short".
