Is it alright to place 2 condenser coil units on different sides of the house.

I look at the potential house to buy but see only one condenser unit. The house have 2 stories (2500sqf), and should have 2 units . Is it unlikely to have another unit on the backside of the house (I can't see due to the fence)?

Thanks.
