Al. mesh filters

I have a Lifebreath 195dcs (hrv) with duel cores. There two al. wire mesh filters, one at the inlet and one at exhaust. The filters are different thicknesses. The thin one has several mesh layers of the same mesh size. The thicker one has more layers that the thin one, but the mesh size deminishes as you look thru the filter. These filters are very similar to the ones you see in above-stove units. I would like to know which goes at which end. My thoughts are that the thicker one with the different size meshes would go at inlet, but I'm not sure. Anyone know for sure, or should I just use logic? Thanks

Al. mesh filters

See if the install instructions tell you.

If you don't have them. You can probably download them from their website.
