what is the best way to get a trane central aircondition ready for the hot summer days here in texas? Cleaning air duct, filters, cleaning coils (in and out), how do you check the pressure on the system? what are the best coil cleaning agents outthere in the field?
Thanks for all your help.
The best way that I have found is to look for coupons in the paper. Here, for around $40-50 you get a trained tecnician to do all of that for you. Some areas should really be left to the pro's and IMHO A/C is one of those areas.
Think of it this way. By the time you get done running around, buying the chemicals and filter, the tech is only going to cost you about $20 extra and you still haven't bought the gauge set. If the system is low, you still have to hire a tech to come fix the problem and charge the system.
