Air Return Problems

I have a Central Air system in my home. All of the HVAC people tell us it is plenty to cool/heat our home (2100 SQFT). The 2 car garage was converted prior to us moving in and it has 2 vents in it. We had the duct work redone with a new plenium as to run a dedicated line to those vents. That exaust flue and the plenuim get hot until I open the door to the unit in the hallway, Then things start to get better. I have 2 Air returns 1 directly under the unit and the other in the front room. But not one in the 2 car garage converted room. HELP...I cannot keep spending $$$$ and it not getting fixed.....

Regards Mike

Air Return Problems

While I don't know what that room looks like.. You may need to provide the equipment room with a fresh air duct. Also, add a return air to the added room .If, the unit can't return any air from that room

Air Return Problems

The room in question used to be a 2 car garage that has been converted to a living room.
