I am new at this forum so nice to meet you all.
Currently I am living in a house with a fireplace in the living room.
Although it is a "cassette" fireplace, it does not completely prevent smoke from spreading out all around, since you are suposed to open it from time to time to fill it with wood, poke the fire, etc.
My wife and I are concerned about our newborn baby, since sometimes smoke is quite noteceable and we spend a long time by the fireplace, especially now during the wintertime.
As a rookie in HVAC, I would be most grateful if someone could give me some guidance regarding air purifiers. Which type or model is the most suitable to clean indoor air from wood-fireplace smoke?
Thank you all in advance and regards from Spain.
By the way, I have seen Honeywell IFD60001E and Honeywell HAP16200E, as well as some models from Bionaire. But I have found no information, neither in the internet nor in the product manual itself, regarding their suitability for my particular needs (smoke from fireplace).
