air conditioning leak in insulated copper line, in attic?
 

my condensate line is open in the attic, but i have a leak from my copper line in the attic that has ruined my ceiling. it had some insulation around it . is this normal? how can i fix it ? help! john

hello? can anyone tell me why or how to fix a copper line going to the air unit in the attic? it's a slow leak and the insulation wrap is gone in a 6" I think area and the copper has turned green.

Sounds to me its the suction line. Wrap it with insulation.

foam water line insulation from HDepot or wrap type.
