Air conditioner sleeves

I am looking for replacement sleeves for window a/c's installed in the walls of a condo complex. The sleeves are rusty, but the ac's are in good condition. Can anyone tell me where I can find sleves for these units.

if there not rotting out they can be wire brushed primed up and color sprayed again. is it the outside or where they slde into..? ordering just the sleeves can get real expensive

Go find a sheet metal shop and give them the dimensions that you need, for the replacement sleeves.

Air Conditioner Sleeeves

It's the outside sleeve that the a/c goes into. This problem is constent because the property is on the beach, and gets a lot of salt spray.

Most sleeves I have seen are very difficult to replace and many times are built in the exterior wall when the building is being constructed and is very heavy gage steel very difficult to replace. I would recommend what others have said wire brush and paint. Or ask the Condo maintenance person what they recommend.

Some research into the several Plastisol coating products available may be a solution for the harsh environment rather than replacement. If you are lucky there will be a shop with that service close by otherwise it may be a DIY job.
