Air Conditioner


Thank you beenthere for trying to help me, but I was informed that the thermostat will have to reset itself. I guess will have to sleep on ice cubes until tomorrow.

Well I got it from a very reliabe source! I have a fan so I will just have to take my lumps tonight and start again tomorrow!! Have a great night, what's left of it.

Tomorrow, post the brand and model number of your thermostat.

I've never heard of one that has to "just reset itself".

Not that I've seen or heard of every thermostat there is. But I've seen and installed a few over the last 35 years.

the thermostat is by totaline but I don't know the maker of the actual air conditioner.

if the a/c is running but not cooling it's not the t.stat. T.stat just sends power to bring the unit on & turn it off.

Sorry. But who ever told you it has to reset itself. Didn't know what they were talking about. Or didn't want to bother looking at it for you.

You need a tech. or a friend that will actually check things for you.
