Air conditioner

Have it checked and the condenser coil cleaned to make sure it is working properly and is fully charge. If all is well then it just may not be sized to keep up with a 97 deg (some areas that don't get as hot often size units appropriately so they are not too oversized) anyway moisture in the air can also a factor on the load on the unit. Make sure if you have a fireplace to close the dampener to prevent any air from coming in on those real hot days. Anyway, the 84 degrees probably still feels a lot better then the 97 degrees
