Adding new zone
I would like to turn in my current single zone hydro heating system into 3 zone heating system in my single family home.
Zone 1: current zone first floor using Old radiators(please see current setup in pic CurrentSetup.jpg)
Zone 2: new zone for second floor using Myson radiators.
Zone3: new zone in basement, possible floor heating but donít know at this time, but would like to account in for future.
We have currently Bryant Boiler(please see CurrentSetup.jpg) with the setup of one zone as you see from the pic. There is no pumps in the system, works on physics law to circulate the water.
I need help in two areas. First, I need help approving/correcting the structuring of 3 zone heating system that I have in mind. Second, I need help getting the right parts (such as zone pumps, bypass valves and so on) to do the work. I have two pictures to help me gather information from you. Picture 1 (CurrentSetup.jpg) is the current systemís setup. The picture 2 (NewSetup.jpg) is a drawing on how I am thinking this system should look like at the end.
1.Please, advise me if the system in picture 2 is the way to go to achieve my goal of 3 zones.
2.In the picture 2, I have numbers (1-11) for each part that I am thinking to buy. Please, advise me if I am getting the right parts, if all of them are needed or if I am missing some.
Nr 1, 2, and 3 are zone valves for each system. I am looking at fallowing zone valves http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/Heati...ZoneValves.asp Which, if any, should I buy or can you recommend me other ones?
Nr 4, 5 are ball valves and I am looking at http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/Heati...tonepropal.asp Which, if any, should I buy or can you recommend me other ones?
Nr. 6 are balancing valve. I was not successful finding one to buy. Please, advise me if I need one and what type should I buy.
Nr. 7 is bypass valve. I am looking at http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/Heati...tonepropal.asp which, if any, should I buy or can you recommend me another one??
Nr. 8 is 3 way mixing valve. I am looking at http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/Heati...tonepropal.asp. which, if any, should I buy or can you recommend me another one?
Nr 9. Is circulator (w/isolation flanges). I am looking at http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/Heati...irculators.asp. Which circulator should I buy?
Nr. 11 is Multi Zone Relay to connect three thermostats for each of the two floors and one in basement. I am looking at http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/Heati...elrelaybuy.asp Which should I buy or can you recommend me another one?
Nr12. Is a question whether I have to connect the outgoing circulation to the one coming back like it is in the picture?
Nr13. I am not sure what it is and whether I need one?
Any help would help. I am also eager to pay/donate for your assistance in this matter.
Thank you ahead for bringing heat in my families house.
