adding freon in winter


Hey can you add freon when it is low to mid 30s outside? If so, do I add it in heat mode or ac mode.

I have a bucket I can keep the talk from freezing if that is a concern.

yes, use heating mode. Be forewarnded it's very easy to overcharge a system when it's cold.
