Adding an extra vent

Any info or advice would be much much appreciated.
If you don't have a return vent in the crawlspace you won't get much heat out of the supply register. You'll basically pressurize the space and then litte to no heat comes in. You need to get air circulation, so you need an inlet and an outlet in the conditioned space.

Air goes in and air goes out.

Thanks A&P, I am trying to understand best I can. I am an HVAC dummy so to speak. Sounds way to complicated of a job to get a return vent down there even though my HVAC unit is just on the other side of the crawl space wall. Seemed so simple as this article explains but I guess it more complicated then that.

You can put the return vent anywhere in the crawlspace, even on the return trunk if it's down there.

Thanks again A&P!! That's part of the problem/frustration as I am pretty certain the return vent does not run through the crawl so getting one down there would be a project it seems. Happy New Year and thanks again!
