90% Furnace Vent Lines

Doing my first 90% furnace and you run the 2" PVC vents horizontally out of the basement. Can't go to neighbor's driveway side right?. Back of house way too far to go. My driveway side cuts across joists and I can't get the 1/4" per ft slope without cutting alot of wood. So I will go the shortest route with the joists to the front of house, but that concentric sticking out there might look bad. Also I have to cut 3.5" of that 7" joist to get the concentric through. Why is this job so difficult?

Most municipality's will not allow the vent in the front of the house. As to why it is so hard, the apprenticeship for a tinner is 5 years going to school 1 day a week.

DO NOT CUT THE JOIST YOU WILL WEAKEN THE STRUCTURE.

I run PVC counter to joist direction all the time. What is the difficulty with your situation?

What type equip? Can you describe the concentric?
