I just got a new NuTone 130cfm bathroom fan and it has either a 6 or 4 in adapter. I know I know, 6 is better, but is this a huge differece? If so, I need to get all new vents and lines.
The 6 inch will increase flow by about double so, if it's a small bathroom go with the smaller diameter vent but, if large bathroom OR length of vent is more than 15 feet (each elbow is equivalent to 5 feet.) would be better with 6 inch.
Thanks man. I'm going to stick with the 4in because thats what the vent bundle came with. I did go out and buy a new insulated 4in line though. The line in the vent bundle is not insulated and this will be in the attic.
4" will have more velocity which would help get it out quicker,i guess Ive never seen a fart fan with a 6" vent hooked to it.
That thing would have to be huge,do you have a seat belt on the toilet?
That signature was from a previous post long ago .
And yes Im a big Mark Levn fan
