any professional opinions on this matter please. i've had no problems but i'm just curious. it's a goodman and i've had it installed 1 1/2 yr ago and it works great and my bill is never above 200bucks in summer of fla. i was told it would run more effeciently this way.

We match up a larger evap coil with a smaller condenser all the time for efficiency. What do you want to know?

The indoor coil has much more surface area to change the liquid freon off to gas faster causing better removal of humidity in the air also. It's like getting more bang for the buck.
