32 inch high crawl space can a furnace fit

I have a vacation home that now has a wall furnace. I would like to put a furnace in the crawl space and run ducts to all the rooms. the crawl space is just under 32 inches high. I have propane fuel to run the furnace. The home is 1000 sq feet and it is primarly used in the winter months .The temp range in those months is 0 degrees to 40 degrees. The crawl space is insulated and has lighting. The home was built in 2000.

I don't know specifics, but you could check the clearances to combustibles on any furnace manufacturer's website. A typical Trane is 14.5" by 28 but 28" is the depth lying on the floor. So 14.5" would be the height. Giving around 17.5" to the ceiling.

Have you considered additional room furnaces?
