Which is better to use on a programmable t-stat? I'm using honeywell visionpro 8000's.

2 a day vs. 4 a day settings

That depends on the individual, and their schedule

If, you don't mind it being a little warm in the morning during the summer while your getting ready for work. 2 a day saves you a bit more money.

For comfort, 4 is better.
