1997 carrier hvac with heat pump

Can anyone help me with the install plans for this unit? It is model # 38tk036300. I have been all over the internet trying to get some help in this. I am retrofitting from an all in one system to a split system and have no clue how to begin without install plans. I dont need specific plans to a home, just basic, how to plans. PLEASE?

Be more specific than that. I have never seen plans for a job other than ones from an engineer for a specific job.

well, I was hoping for some information on how to even begin with a retro install, I am familiar with an "all in one" install, this new one is in 3 pieces, foreign to me completely. I am told this one can be installed partially outside, then the evap in the attic, or wherever you want it, so, my question was totally from an ignorance point, i honestly have no clue where to begin.

I should probably admit it to myself and just hire a contractor to do this for me....

Carrier 38 Series

Carrier "38" Series is not handled by Carrier Residential. You need to get in contact with someone in the Commercial HVAC portion of Carrier. They will need all the model numbers (from each section) and then they will be able to provide you with the installation instructions and anything else you will need.

38TK is just an old R-22unit that is no longer made.
