1977 Lennox Fix or Replace

I have a 1977 Lennox furnace. My local heating contractor says that you cannot get parts for this old of a furnace. Evidently only 3 our of 4 of the heater banks are working.

Is this good information? Should I fix or replace?

Thank you.

Your talking about a 34 year old furnace! Replace it with at a 95% and you will be much more efficient. It will pay for itself in no time

If it is an electric furnace that is true. I am a Lennox tech. Recommend the Nortron electric furnaces. Easy to get parts for and well made. Lennox makes coil blower units with electric heaters but no more electric furnaces.

I replaced my old lenox (early 70's) last year with a 95% and it was the best thing I ever did!
