134A refer question
So if R12 run around a 20-16 psi suction @ 15-20 degrees.
What should a 134A frige. run at?
I have a little prep. station/frig. that the compressor is running all the time and it will only get down to 50 degrees.

if your suction pressure is that low and box temp at 50 what is discharge psi

I don't think he said his vapor pressure is that low.

I just took a look at the unit.
Box temp was around 50, suction pressure around 12-13 and cond. coil was dirty.
I cleaned the coil but little to no change on suction pressure.
Eased a littlr R134 in, got the suction pressure up to 18.
Looks like its not the first time being toped off, king valve looked a little chewed up.
I will follow up on it Monday to see if its working better.

Did you check the SH and SC?

At temp, the vapor line will be around 14 to 18.

On a warm box, it will be around 28 to 30.

I went back by today.
The temp droped to 38 degrees.
The owner had replaced the t-stat some time ago.
He said it was set at 22 degrees
I don't know if the system will pull down that far, he keeps the unit between an oven and a pizza oven.
I will recheck the pressures next week.
