115v Mini-Split?

I've got a 8x12 porch that has been enclosed & turned into a dining room. Open doorway to the kitchen, but I need to heat & cool it. It's at the far end of the house and through a finished concrete basement wall so extending the HVAC would probably mean upsizing all of the ducting in between...

A mini-split would seem to be the ticket, and a small one would do great. Right now I'm heating the room with an electric space heater, and I have no doubt that a small window ac unit would cool things nicely. The room gets north and east exposure only, so not a lot of sun load in the summer. The room has existing 115v outlets that aren't used for much of anything.

Are there any mini-split units that can run off a 115v circuit? The main panel is also at the far end of the house, and it would be a pain to run a new 230v circuit to feed the mini-split....

Any options?

Never seen one, even is there was one it would need a dedicated 20 amp. circut so you would have to run another circut anyway.

Yes, there are 115V mini split units. Joe is correct, you would need a dedicated circuit. Here is one.... http://www.highseer.com/ductless-min...wyb009am9.html

They are typically no name or off brand units and parts and tech support are likely non-existent.

Some of those newer models from various vendors with seer of 20's are 120v dedicated circuit.
