10 year old Carrier mid furnace with standing pilot

My son has a 10 year old Carrier mid furnace with a standing pilot. No parts book available. It has AC. Water dripped from the A frame and rusted the burners and clogged the pilot. I'm a licensed gasfitter. I cleaned the burners and put CLR in the pilot. Now the pilot works but it's still restricted. I replaced the thermocouple. It's working now, however the pilot isn't strong. What's the orifice size of this pilot? I'll drill it out to totally remove the obstruction.

I don't know of any carrier furnace that had been made with a standing pilot within the last ten years. I would have to guess it has a three wire pilot assembly/switch. If you had to pour clr into the pilot to clean it, I would recommend replacing the pilot.

Can you let me know what else i can check on my carrier furnace, that's not staying on. I have clean the flame sensor and the glow coil working fine, but after 60 seconds the flame blows out and the valves never get heated

Skip, Carrier made a cheap builders grade GFA mid unit with a standing pilot. (And a Payne and Bryant clone). For $2 more it could have had a HSI, go figure.

Bryan that orifice is ultra tiny as it is a micropilot type burner and obsolete. Not sure what the size was. It is usually stamped on the side of the orifice and you may see it with a strong magnifying glass.
