Will Frost Kill Rust ?

I recently noticed some rust on parts of my lawn (mostly KBG) (shady area). I could try to find a fungicide to fight it, but we must be getting pretty close to a frosty night. If frost will kill the rust, I think I would just let nature run its course. I did a Google search, but only could find one suggestion that frost would kill the rust.

You should add fungus control to your lawn program ,I use this stuff.http://www.scotts.com/smg/catalog/pr...temId=cat50060

Frost will not kill the rust spores but I would wait until spring now to apply a fungicide. And if you are not already, try to water early in the day so the turf dries out before dusk. Obviously you cannot do much about rain.
