Anyone knows what this thing is? It's about 8 1/2 feet by now and keeps growing. I call it a Triffid.

Thank you!
I like it actually:
It is widely used for herbal remedies with emollient and astringent properties. It is known to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour, antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, expectorant, and analgesic properties.[1] It is especially recommended for coughs and related problems, but also used in topical applications against a variety of skin problems. The plant was also used to make dyes and torches.

Hey, looks totally cool. I can reach as far as 8 feet up with tips of my fingers, and it beats me. I feel only good vibes coming out of it standing next to it. It's a "pal" plant, weed or not.
I was simply curious, what the hey is it.

Weed in general presumes a "bad" plant. I somehow befriended this one, I like that it self seeded and was so determined to grow. Has another plant to beat, a competitor in "height" competition. That one, on the far left, is an ornamental plant though.
It's the one in the center of the 3.

Hollyhocks are some times called 'privy' plants--as they were frequently planted around out houses.

Mullens are not invasive, so if you enjoy the plant ,it will not take over your wild flower garden.
