thefatpigeon Newbie   Join Date: Mar 2010 Posts: 19	under 1 year cedar deck. grey About 10 months ago we put in a new cedar deck. It was sealed. 10 months later the deck is a ugly grey colour. Seems like a waste of money. Is this normal. did it get sealed wrong. Is there anything we can do to return the rich warm colour of cedar?

I built a cedar picnic table and sealed it with an all natural Soy based product. I was very disappointed when it turned gray, figured it was the shortcoming of trying to go green. I got a clorox based deck cleaner at HD, and scrubed with a brush. Table cleaned up pretty well __________________ Those who can, do... Those who can't criticize on the internet
