How do I stop the gas from leaking between the gas tank and fuel lines

If it's new in the last year or two, I would remove the fuel lines, reconnect them, and see if it still leaks; could be that you caught one of them on something, and pulled it loose a bit. If that does not fix it, or if it is more than two years old, I would get new fuel line and clamps from the local hardware or lawn care dealer. Clamps, by the way, in this case, are usually a simple wire loop, with a curl on each end, which you can squeeze with your fingers or needle nose pliers to open, and they do weaken over time, so don't overlook those.
