Troy Bilt Gas Cultivator
Hello All! Newbe here. Have a question on a Troy Bilt Cultivator. It is a 4 cycle gas tiller that has been blowing the crankcase and valve cover seals. Found that the crankcase vent was plugged by the crank seals. Of course it is out of warranty... Finally purchased a new crank assembly and am reassembling. Anyone know how the camshaft gear lines up with the crank? It has been apart numerous times and I don't recall the original line-up. One of the times it was popping back through the carb at higher speeds, but ran. I have attached a picture showing the camshaft gear on top of the hole it drops into. The gear has a line (showed) that is lined up with the end of the crank tdc between two lines on the case.
Anyone had this engine apart?
