Trimming Cypress Pines
Question about trimming a row of Cyrpress Pine tress that line my back yard. I am a newbie starting from step one so please bear with me. The top of the trees is about 10 feet (and growing) so I was looking at Sears for a tool that has an extension of some kind. I noticed no tool with extension when looking at trimmers but a few when looking at pole saws.
First question: I am looking for a trimmer correct? I basically am going to be trimming branches so I am guessing a pole saw is not the best option.
Second question: Would it be advisable to trim the tops of trees of that height from below?
Third question: Anyone know of a good trimmer that would work in this case.
Fourth question: Having never trimmed trees (or hedges) before, what is the difficulty level of what I am describing? Would a novice be able to do a decent job.
