I have a 6-8" diameter branch hanging over and rubbing on my roof. its a large branch. this is on top of my 2nd story house with a steep roof. any suggestions on how to drop it? with out tearing my gutters off?

It would need to be removed in pieces, and only safest way is to use either a bucket lift, or high lift. I would call around to a few tree trimming companies to see what they would charge in removing enough of the branch, away from the house.
