those little plant growing in the hole....
Regarding my ever lasting landscape paving project, I have finished digging my 600 sq. ft area a couple of weeks ago.... now is transporting the mud to the dump bin which should last me 7 days... (someone did pick up some mud from me... but not enough... still need to dump the rest).... well anyway... what happen is there are small little plants start to grow in different spots of the digged area....

my question is do I need to worry about those, will the gravel which should be laid in a couple of weeks time and the machine compacting being able to kill these guys once and for all.... Or I should spend time to dig those little plants out also... there are really tiny now... probably will be bigger in a week or more time....

I'd either pull them or spray them with a round-up type product before installing your base.

Pulling them sounds like way too much work. Not lazy, I do this every day. Maybe hoe them down if possible or spray them like 47 said. This is a good sized area to consider a gallon of soil sterilant which will keep anything from sprouting for a year. Cost just a little more than a "round-up" type killer and works lots longer.
