Termites in mulched flower bed.

Planted some sunflower seeds in a mulched bed @ 100 feet from my house. Found termites. YUCK. As my home termite policy does not include areas that far from the house what can I do to get rid of the buggers?

Termites in mulched flower bed.

There insecticides that will kill them
Big box stores or local hardware store should have something
I bought a bottle of insectice that I dilute & put in a 1g sprayer

Termites in mulched flower bed.

i thought it was common to get termites in mulch. It's 100 ft from the house I don't think it'll invade. It's not like a swarming termite group with a queen right? supposedly they should die or not be able to multiply. Termites are probably in your soil underground. Just don't keep wood near your property

Lowes and HD do sell stakes and chemicals. I heard they don't work and are a waste of money. This being said by a termite company...so it could be biased.
