How close to overhead wires can my swimming pool be installed?
What is considered save?

I'm guessing you putting this in without a permit.
In my area you can not be within 50 ft. of underground or over head wiring to allow for power company servicing of the lines. In some cases you can get a variance.

Off the top of my head according to LIPA's Redbook you'll need 25' of verticle clearance above the maximum water level. I wouldn't put a pool anywhere underneath power lines. Pete

If you have power company lines going over your property, I would think that the POCO should have to move them off your "air space", especially if it breaks code on your side. There should be no reason why you can't put a pool in your own yard.

If they are just cable and phone lines, that is different and really aren't a danger.
