Look online or on You Tube. Many others have done this.
Do expect to find you will need a permit and maybe inspections to fill in a pool though. Don't shoot the messenger. The inspector will want to make sure you have disabled all the systems and so forth. A cracked pool can become a leach field although if filled with dirt I have never understood the concern.
You should read up on what turf to use for your putting green and how to prepare the base for planting and being walked on. Bent grass is a fave in some areas if you want authenticity. The turf management person at your local golf course will probably be flattered to be asked for guidance. Hint. Hint.
