Suggestions for fixing this sprinkler valve??

Noticed wet dirt around the valve, dug down and found a small crack on the supply side, not sure how the heck I am going to be able to fix it as it's right next to the slab??

Jackhammer, most likely.

But it'd help if you described the situation a little more. As in, where is the line feeding this coming from?

It's PVC, correct? If the crack isn't very close to the next section then, well, cut out the broken piece and splice in some new pipe. You may end up having to recreate the Tee connections leading to those heads. But PVC pieces are reasonably priced and easy to work with. It's often better to just re-do some stuff rather than wasting the time to try and add onto existing stuff.

Does the PVC run under the slab, or does it run INTO the slab? If it's under the slab, same advice, clear away the dirt and splice in new pipe. But if it runs INTO the slab then you're facing jackhammer time, most likely.

is the crack on top where you can see it ? if the crack is going into the concreate than you will have to remove that to get closer to the crack. if you can see the crack and can clean it with pvc pipe cleaner , and their is enough clearence on the pipe you could try and cut a piece of new pipe in half and pvc glue that over the crack ? let it dry , it may hold , i would try that , may work , less work not perment fix but it may be good enough ? seeing that their is only water preasure when the system is on , unless the preasure is on the feed side than preasure all the time ? good luck

If it's not encased in the cement under the slab then just dig out enough to get to it. Like I posted, be prepared to just rebuild that whole section of pieces. It'll be a lot easier to be splicing in new sections that driving yourself crazy trying to cut things apart closely enough. That and PVC is cheap.

The real question is why did the old one split? Someone not winterize it properly and it froze?
