I have PT material left over during the construction of a pergola. Because of the change in weather I will not be able to use the remainder of the material until spring. I have 2 pieces of 2x10x12 pressure treated lumber to store over the winter.
I was wondering how to store this properly to stop it from warping slipping or fading.
I have 2 options available to me.
Store in the backyard under the weather or in an unheated garage.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to store the pt wood over the winter months

Reason: Correct Spelling mistake in title
Is take it back another option? Seem like every time I have to store something I end up moving it 3 or 4 times before I get to use it.
If not I'd lay a few short 2 X 4's on the floor in the garage and store it in there and if possible stack something heavy on it in the middle and two ends.
As it dries it's going to want to try and curl up since it's not nailed in place.
