soil test...fertilized

Okay..so the story goes I overseeded/fertalized last fall and this spring the grass was lush and green. I wanted to put some spring fertalizer down so I did a soil test. Acid 6.0, Nitrogen Low, Posphorus high, Potash Low. So I bought a Lesco Fertalizer (non-weed control) 18-0-12. I spread it as directed. Now my lawn is looking like it is fertalizer burnt. I dont get it? I watered before I put the fertalizer down and did my normal morning zone watering?

I am in the process of selling my house and now my yard doesn't look very good. What can I do now?

Any thoughts or suggestions is greatly welcome!

You watered immediately before applying the fertilizer, the day before, or when exactly?
How much did you water after the application and when?
