Snowblower Troubleshooting

Last year I purchased a new Toro Power Clear 221R, and it worked great all last winter.

It started right up this winter for the first snow. However, when I actually try to start throwing snow with it, it dies.

It idles fine. And it runs fine with the blades turning as long as I'm not pushing it through snow. But as soon as it actually starts having to throw snow, it goes kaput.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Any advise?

Snowblower Troubleshooting

Did you make sure to turn the choke off after you started the snowblower?

I am grateful for your reply.

And shamed that your reply correctly identified the problem.

Damn user error.

Thank you!
