Question

Small drainage problem

Hi all,

Not sure what the best way to get rid of this standing water against the curbing.

I thought about cutting lines into the curbing itself or building a small french ditch underneath the curbing. The latter seems like a lot of work for such a small issue.

The grass is suffocating and it's starting to rot and stink so I do need to do something soon about it.

I could let it evaporate but water collects there after the irrigation system runs and after every thunderstorm downpour.

Small drainage problem

What is on the far side of the curbing? If the water went on the other side, for example if you drilled horizontal holes in the curbing to let the water around the grass drain, then would that cause a problem?
