Sidewalk Edger

jwsmas Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: St. Louis, MO Posts: 9	Sidewalk Edger Does anyone have a recommendation for a gas powered lawn edger? I have a large yard with a lot of sidewalk timming required. I have a Stihl string trimmer but it isn't easy to use by the sidewalk to get a nice straight cut. Thanks

mntentman Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Minneapolis MN Posts: 25	Sidewalk Edger When I bought mine, there were a limited amount of choice. I didn't want to spend a fortune and I didn't want something big. I got a Weedeater 8 1/2 - inch edger from Lowe's. I have been very happy with it.

A bit pricey, but you'll never be disappointed IMO.

It does the job and I am happy with it Walmart I should add that I needed a smaller unit because in my back yard I have several grassy areas surrounded by concrete mow strips and I can easily run this edger on top of the strip Last edited by Git; 08-28-2008 at 05:01 PM.
