Show me pics of your raised planters for your veggies!

I am looking for get some ideas for raised planters to grow some vegetables in my soon to be new backyard. Right now I've been growing Tomatoes and Peppers in buckets on the apartment patio so I'm looking forward to being able to have some bigger plants and get some extra produce going.

I was thinking raised would be better since the soil out here in TX seems pretty rough and it also makes tending to the garden a little bit easier but I'm open to suggestions or alternatives.

DOn't have pics on me, but I used 4x4 for the corners and stacked two 2x6's on top of each other, screwed to the posts. So, the planting beds are 12" high. I then added another smaller bed with just one 2x6 below it, stepping down, but giving me another few feet of space.

Wall block is another commonly used option.

Just redid mine.
4, 16' x 4' 2x12s

Still bring ing the extra dirt needed.
Pics coming this weekend when all the dirt is in.

I'm also playing with the idea of putting in a raised bed. I've read it is not a good idea to use pressure treated wood for vegetable gardens because of the chemicals used on the wood.
Is this still true? Aren't the newer pressure treated woods safer and more environmentally friendly?

I went the easy/cheap route:

2x6 pine and painted the outside. No chemicals from PT. I'll have to replace the boards in a few years but it is cheap so no biggie.

I've got PT wood...I dont think the concern is as great today as it might have been 10 yrs ago....but you also should wrap the inside of your beds with plastic or weed barrier to prevent dirt from escaping out or from the dirt coming in contact with the wood and rotting it.
