Sears Yard Vacuum

I use a Sears Yard Vacuum to suck up and chop my leaves. It works well. But the clip that holds up the bag ripped off from the bag. How do I repair this? I cannot use the machine until I do and I am drowning in leaves!

If it's originally an integral part of the bag, then replacing the bag is the obvious, but expensive answer. Given that bags can be a bit expensive, if the bag is in otherwise good condition, you might be able to repair it. I don't know what it looks like, so I really can't offer any suggestions.

Maybe you could post a photo of the damage and see if folks here can come up with some ideas.
