Ryobe curved with detachable shaft

Have a Ryobi (bout 6 or 7 yrs old) detachable shaft that won't start. Haven't started it about 3 or 4 yrs. Took it apart and the fuel lines all fell apart. My question is, if I buy a new one with the older attachments (blower etc.) fit? Or does it pay to possible fix this? A new one is about $80
